What is really behind a 5 star review

Receiving a 5 star review is what we always strive for. It tells the world that we excel in our profession. It increases our chances of gaining new customers that will trust us to provide the customer service and results they desire.

However, it's the back story that makes these reviews so meaningful to us. When we work as hard as we do to provide a great experience for our customers, these 5 star reviews let us know that our efforts are appreciated.

This review as posted on Realtor.com is a great example of that.

So why were they "extremely pleased"?

First, we spent close to 2 years watching the community that they desired to buy their new home in. Since they are snowbirds, we would do virtual showings in their absence. The home they ended up buying last December came on the market while they were out of state. When I saw it hit the market, I was the first agent to see it in person. Bottom line: it is now their new home and they LOVE it.

Once they moved out of their old home, we went to town getting it ready for sale.

After 5 weeks of detailing by Little Black Dress Home Staging, this home was then staged and listed on the MLS. Then it received all of our professional marketing.

18 days, and 2 weekends of open house events later, this property received an offer that the sellers were very happy with.

The contract we used did not allow the buyer to change their mind without risk of losing their deposit.

I attended all inspections and even climbed on the roof to personally see what the inspector was talking about.

There were a few issues and we were able to find a solution that both buyer and seller could agree upon.

The closing happened as scheduled.

Since their closing we've enjoyed a lovely dinner at their new home, speak occasionally and are very happy to be able to call them our friends.

That is just one example of why we greatly appreciate our customers taking the time to post a 5 star review for us.
