The Bay Sarasota - Phase 1 design proposal explained
Whether you are a permanent or seasonal resident of Sarasota Florida, The Bay project will affect you. The park will not only offer a scenic place for family picnics and outdoor movie nights, it will also affect your home values here in the surrounding areas in Sarasota.
Managing Director Bill Waddill claims they can "cut the ribbon" and open The Bay to the public in 3 years or less. Phase 1 will not include any permanent food or beverage suppliers. There will however be a pavillion for future food and wine festivals, featured chefs, and possibly food trucks. Those working on the project believe that ultimately the space first needs to be tested, so that it may develop more organically into its highest and best use. This is your opportunity to give your opinions to The Bay designers and help us get the most out of our new park.
